Man treated in hospital after assault in Whitehead

At approximately 1.30am on Sunday (May 15) it was reported that a male in his 20s had been assaulted by a number of people.

He was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.

Sgt Robson would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this assault or anyone who has any information about it to contact police at Larne on the non-emergency number 101.
