Larne Business Awards: Enter now, or nominate a company

Business owners, employees and customers are all encouraged to get involved in the 2014 Larne Business Awards.

With 15 categories the awards cover every aspect of business and commercial life.

Categories cover Best Retailer, Best Export Business, Excellence in Innovation Award, Excellence in Tourism, Best Rural Business, Best Community Engagement, Best Environmental, Best Digital Initiative and Use of Social Media, Excellence in Marketing, Ecelelnce in People Development, Business Person of the Year, Young Business Person of the Year.

There is also a Lifetime Achievement Award which welcomes nominations for those who have made an outstanding contribution to business life in the Larne area over the course of a lifetime.

These categories will be judged by an indendepent panel.

The winners of two special categories - Favourite Restaurant / Cafe and Best Customer Service will be selected by readers of the Larne Times through a readers’ vote.

A business can enter up to two categories, with each entry being on a separate entry form.

To enter, all you have to do is pick up an application form from the Larne Times office, 8 Dunluce Street. Alternatively email [email protected] or [email protected]

The entry form should include a summary of the reasons why the business should be the winner, paying particular attention to the criteria against which the award will be judged. The closing date for receipt of completed entry forms is Monday, July 7.
