The Met Office have issued a weather warning for more heavy rain for the Province tonight (Wednesday).

After a drier and brighter day but still “a few showers near to Down and Antrim coasts” the Met Office say in the evening time there will be “heavy rain reaching Armagh, Fermanagh and Tyrone”.

Meanwhile, according to the Met Office website tonight “all areas will have a short period of heavy rain with snow on hills”.

They warn that drier, colder conditions with risk of ice will follow with a minimum temperature of 0°C.
