LARNE-based builders’ merchants Haldane Fisher has won the top safety award at the annual Export and Freight Transport and Logistics Awards.

The company was presented with the much-coveted award, sponsored by Michelin Tyres, at a ceremony at the Ramada Hotel in Belfast.

This award was judged by health and safety expert, Bill Manson of Podiem. Bill is a national training awards judge, chairman of the judging panel for the Excel Awards in management and leadership and he is a recognition panel member for Investors in People.

Haldane Fisher has developed a strong health and safety ethos in all parts of their business. Their operations demand a high level of diligence both in their own premises and on site.

They are operating in many different environments and sometimes locations that are not easily accessed or managed.
