guests at the Larne Business Awards have generously donated the fantastic sum of £969 towards the work at Larne Adult Centre.

A charity ballot was organised as part of the gala event, with prizes sourced by Larne Adult Centre up for grabs.

The draw was made at the end of the awards ceremony, after which the donations were presented to Larne Adult Centre.

Jayne Mayberry said that the generosity of those attending the awards night was simply fantastic.

“On behalf of the staff, members and friends of Larne Adult Centre, I would like to pass on very grateful thanks to everyone who attended and donated most generously at the Larne Business Awards evening in the newly-renovated Town Hall.

“Thanks also to the Larne Times for organising this event and allowing the centre to be involved.

“Finally a huge thank you to all the local businesses who so willingly and generously gave vouchers and gifts to the centre for use in the fundraising raffle on the night. We are delighted to have received the very grand total of £969! Thanks again to all involved,” Jayne said.
