Scour the coast for ocean giants at Garron Point

Discover more about the magnificent marine mammals found along the Antrim Coast with an illustrated talk and guided one-hour watch at Garron Point, Carnlough, on Saturday March 25, at 10.00 am.

Meeting in the Ardclinis Outdoor Adventure, join wildlife experts from Ulster Wildlife, Heart of the Glens Landscape Partnership Scheme, Glenarm Wildlife Group and the Irish Whale and Dolphin Group Centre to learn how to identify dolphins, porpoises and whales found in local waters.

Then, grab your binoculars and telescopes, and head outdoors to the scour the coast for these ocean giants, from one of the best vantage points in Northern Ireland.

Participants are advised to wear walking boots/sturdy shoes suitable for walking on uneven ground and to dress appropriately for the weather.

This is a free event, but donations are welcome. Please email Dave Wall, [email protected], to confirm your attendance. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Bring binoculars and/or spotting scopes if you have them.
