BISHOP Patrick Walsh, retired Bishop of Down and Connor, visited St Killian’s College to bless the new facilities added to the school during the past year.

A former teacher and chairman of the Board of Governors in St MacNissi’s, Bishop Walsh was centrally involved in the creation of St Killian’s from the amalgamation of St MacNissi’s College, St Aloysius’ High school and St Comgall’s High School.

During his visit, he called into a number of classrooms, spoke with pupils and also signed the visitors’ book.
