The Woodside Industrial Estate in Broughshane is to become the venue for a series of summertime Gospel drive-in services led by Rev Stephen Dickinson on the first two Sundays of each month in June, July and August at 8.30pm.

Rev Dickinson will be the speaker at each of the services and there will be visiting singers every night. The services will last for around 45 minutes and include bright singing, led by an all-age group of musicians and singers, and a relevant presentation of the gospel message. These services are open to everyone – people are invited to come and bring their family with them, sit in the comfort of their car and enjoy a life changing message.

Rev Dickinson said that he has received many letters from people encouraging him to continue to hold drive-in services over the summer months. He told the Larne Times that he was looking forward to having the privilege of meeting new people who will attend and hopes that the new venue will provide a good base for the outreach meetings.

“In days of continuous bad news – the gospel drive-in services will present people with a Saviour who can change their lives now and forever,” said Rev Dickinson.

He stressed that the meetings were after church time at 8.30pm so as not to interfere with other services in the area and assures everyone of a warm welcome.

Those planning to attend the meetings should take the Woodside Road out of Broughshane, take left into Woodside Industrial Estate and drive right to the top of the estate where the meetings will be held in a large tarmacked car park. Alternatively just follow the signs from Woodside Road.
