Christians Together service

Larne Tuesday Group’s annual Christians Together service is to be held in the McNeill Theatre, Larne Leisure Centre on Sunday, January 24 at 3pm. The theme of the service this year, ‘Salt and Light’, has been chosen by Latvian Christians and on this theme a short address will be given by Rev Philip Benson, Church of Ireland Curate at the Parish churches of Larne and Inver, Glynn and Raloo.

Singing will be led by St MacNissi’s choir and readings will be given by senior pupils from Larne Grammar School, Larne High School, Roddensvale School and St Killian’s College.

The retiring collection will be for Roddensvale School, towards funds for the new hydrotherapy pool project.

All are most welcome to attend this very unique and meaningful service.

The next scheduled meeting of Larne Tuesday Group will be held on February 16 in Larne Methodist Church.

Jonathan Rea will play the organ and piano and speak about the role of music in building bridges among communities of various faiths and in church services to illustrate ‘Journeying with a Musician.’

This meeting will commence with refreshments served in the church hall at 10.30am, followed at 11am by the meeting in the adjacent church. Everyone is welcome to attend.
