Young Enterprise Northern Ireland is offering east Antrim residents the opportunity to inspire a whole new generation of entrepreneurs.

The organisation has taken on an influx of new board members with a wealth of business and education experience, who are responsible for promoting and supporting the charity throughout the area and raising essential funds to enable it to carry out its work.

Covering Larne, Carrickfergus and Newtownabbey, the Young Enterprise East Antrim Area Board ensure the charity is able to continue its work in all educational sectors including primary, post-primary and third level education.

The board’s first point of action will be to recruit new volunteers.

A Young Enterprise volunteer may take a number of roles, whether mentoring a student business in ongoing weekly sessions or speaking to a larger group about their area of expertise at a one off event.

There is a volunteering opportunity for anyone who is determined to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs, no matter how many hours they can spare.
