POPULAR children’s writer Ann Bryant has officially opened the new library at Corran Integrated Primary School.

The new facility came about thanks to a $20,000 donation from the Jim and Lynn Moroney Foundation, through the Integrated Education Fund.

Pupils will be sending photos and letters to the Texas-based donors to thank them for their support, and keep them up to date with events at the school, no doubt including the special opening ceremony.

Ann Bryant is author of several books for all ages and her presence to officially open the new library proved to be a source of great excitement among pupils of all ages at Corran IPS. Brian Small, fundraising manager at the IEF will also be present.

After the official opening, Ann ran a workshop involving music and words for pupils.
