McGlone to contest Mid Ulster seat

SDLP MLA Patsy McGlone was last night selected as the party’s candidate for the Mid-Ulster Westminister by-election.

Mr McGlone will contest the seat against Sinn Fein’s Francie Molloy who stands in for his party colleague and Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness.

Unionists have yet to name a candidate with only victims’ campaigner Willie Frazer announcing that he will contest the seat.
