Police appeal after crash claims life of motorcyclist

POLICE have appealed for information following the death of a 28-year-old motorcyclist at Ballymullock Road outside Larne on Monday evening.
The crash victim was Stephen McCrea from the Ballyclare area.

The collision, which occurred at approximately 7.10pm, involved a motorcycle and a Seat car. The male driver of the Seat was not injured.

Police are investigating the incident and would appeal to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the collision to contact them at Larne station on 0845 600 8000.

Mr McCrea's death brings the number of people who have lost their lives on Northern Ireland's roads to 63 so far this year.
