Theatre at The Mill’s summer season programme kicks off in June with a talk from Liverpool FC legends Ian Saint John and Ian Callaghan, live on stage with author and broadcaster John Keith in ‘The Saint & Cally’.

Audiences can discover the inside stories about Bill Shankly, Bob Paisley and the secrets of the iconic Anfield boot room before putting their own questions to the two Kop heroes and meeting them after the show.

This is a must-see for any Liverpool or football fan. The Saint & Cally will be at the Newtownabbey venue on Thursday, June 6.

For those who prefer a night of big musical show tunes, start your summer on a high note on June 14 and 15 with the return of ‘Magical Musical Theatre’ - a bright, entertaining and feel good show with tunes from the most popular West End and Broadway productions, including Chicago, Fame, Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Evita and many more.

For a different kind of theatre experience, test your best detective skills during an unforgettable evening of mystery in this year’s outdoor theatre production, ‘Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Baskervilles’.

Join the dramatic detective duo, Holmes and Watson, at Mossley Mill on July 4 as they go on a mysterious adventure to the lonely wasteland of the desolate Devon moors, where something evil is afoot.

The show promises to be a great night out for all the family, so bring your rug and picnic for an evening of theatre under the stars.

Add a touch of sunshine and laughter to your summer with some of the Courtyard Theatre’s fun-filled comedy weekend nights out.

A selection of Northern Ireland’s top amateur dramatic groups will perform comical tales of murder, mystery, relationship capers and holiday mayhem in ‘Cash on Delivery’, ‘Absent Friends’, ‘Surprise Package’ and many more.

There is also a range of must-see and family films running at the Courtyard Theatre Picture House throughout the summer months, including, ‘Mama Mia’, ‘Toy Story’ and ‘Back to the Future’.

The new Summer Intermission for Theatre at The Mill and the Courtyard Theatre, detailing shows taking place from June - September, is now available.
