Larne Library will welcome 'Emerging Authors' on March 9.

Larne Library will be giving the public the chance to meet three Northern Ireland-based female authors on Thursday, March 9, at 7pm.

The ‘Emerging Authors’ event will give those who attend the chance to meet writers, Angeline King, Helen Nicholl and Lesley Allen and hear readings from their work.

Angeline King has published two novels and written a fiction blog filled with heart-warming nostalgic prose and stories based on her childhood in Larne. Angeline is writing her fourth novel, based in post-war historical Larne and is finalising a factual book on the history of Festival Irish dancing in Ulster.

Helen Nicholl was born and grew up in South Africa and has written books all her life. Her published work includes a children’s book ‘The Animal Bus’. Lesley Allen’s debut novel, The Lonely Life of Biddy Weir, was published in 2016.

Everyone is welcome to the event and admission is free but booking is advisable.
