The 10-mile walk is completed in two stages, with the first leg covering a six-mile route before participants have a well-deserved rest and enjoy a complimentary lunch and a well-earned cup of tea before the last four-mile leg in the afternoon before crossing the finish line back at Belvoir Park Forest courtyard.

On behalf of her family, Gillian McKeown, said: “Friends of the Cancer Centre is an incredible charity and it was there for me and my family when my father attended the Cancer Centre. The charity does such amazing work to support local cancer patients and to be able to help support them in memory of my dad is really important to me. I would encourage everyone to get the family together and sign up for this year’s walk.” You can sign-up online at www.friendsofthecancercentre.com or call 028 9069 9393.
