LARNE Art Club has announced its programme for 2013.

The new season got underway with a charity cheque presentation for £145 to the Oxygen Therapy Centre.

The winner of the autumn exhibition ballot prize was Councillor Michael Lynch MBE who received a Roberta Fleck framed landscape painting from club president Patricia Kay.

The club’s series of demonstrations will commence on Tuesday February 5, with water colour techniques by Manson Blair. This meeting will take place in the Carnegie building, Victoria Road, starting at 7.30 pm.

Other dates to note are as follows; March 5, Joe McKay, art in photography; April 2, Roger Waring, pastel techniques; May 2, Louis Humphrey, landscapes.

Members will also be preparing for their summer exhibition in Larne Town Hall, on Saturday June 8.
